New Zealand’s Greg Barkley has been unanimously elected as the president of the International Cricket Council (ICC).(Greg Barclay President of ICC) ICC is the apex body of cricket in the world. In Melbourne The ICC Executive Committee meeting was held. Greg Barkley was elected unopposed as President.

The ICC Board currently has a total of 17 members. Jai Shah was elected as the chairman of the ICC Finance and Business Affairs Committee. Currently Jai Shah is the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.It is the apex body in the field of cricket in India.The Finance and Business Affairs Committee of the ICC Board is a very important committee.This committee takes decisions regarding all financial affairs of the ICC. Release of all accused in former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.Greg Barclay President of ICC

Former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in Tamil Nadu state in 21 May1991. Those murder cases Nalini and Sriharan RP. Six people were convicted including Ravichandran. The Supreme Court of India had approved his premature dismissal. They all released on Saturday.

• The order was passed by a bench of Supreme Court comprising Justices B.R.Gawli and B.V.Nagaratna.
• This order was passed in exercise of special powers conferred under Article 142 of the Constitution.
• Perarivalan, one of the accused in the case, was released on 18 May 2022.
• The remaining five prisoners were released on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
